Hitchhiking in turkey as a solo female

Hallo!! Privet!! Merhaba !! Finally it's been a long time  i really want to write about my Hitchhiking experience in turkey but sometimes i am just a lazy ass :P . Okay I visited 15 cities in turkey by hitchhiking actually i was planning to visit 3 countries this summer Turkey, Iran and Georgia but unfortunately i didn't have enough time :( so I decided back to Russia through Georgia after i travelled in turkey. I was really worried about the border Georgia-Russia because i read from any source on the internet kazbegi border were closed but some people said "the border is exist" my friend said  he just passed this border (Kazbegi) a month  ago so i was a little bit nervous. Where should i go if  kazbegi's border not open ?!! but fortunately the border is exist!!

Okay let me tell you how i was starting my adventure hitchhiking alone as a female.
I was starting my hitchhiking to Sochi because i  was going to Turkey by ferry from sochi. I bought a ticket about 130$ in sochi port. You can open this link for more information http://www.seaport-sochi.ru/lines/

But the ticket price doesn't include cabine for sleep. if you want to have bed you should pay more 30$ a little bit expensive pfff. But lucky me i've got free cabine Hahaha so i could sleep well to travel tomorrow in trabzon. :P

I arrived in trabzon about 7 am . and my friend was waiting me in front of the harbour. I travelled in trabzon about 3 days.it was not really hot there. The weather is friendly to me. I spent my 3 days in trabzon
i visited :
1.Castle of Trabzon it consists of three parts Yukari Hisar, The midle Fortress (ortahisar) and the lower fortress (asagi Hisar)
 2. Kucuk ayzavil church
3. Gulbahar Hatun Mosque
 4. Zagno Vadisi
5, Sumela Monastery (Altindere National park)
6. Boztepe
7. Hagia Sophia church Fatih Mah. Aasiya
8. Forum Trabzon
 9. Avrupali pazari (Russian bazaar)

in friday 12 of july 2013 it would be my last day in trabzon i prepared all of my stuff for hitchhiked. i was writing "SAFRANBOLU" in the big paper .my friend was laughing when i wrote that hahaha i taught it's funny too then i told him this is one of the most important thing for me because i don't know turkish very well. i just know some usefull words so if i write it in paper the driver will know where i want to go.
I wrote letter in english and asked taha for help me to translate it in turkish. So at least when the driver try to ask me in turkish "what are you doing here?" i will give this letter so they know why i point my thumb up in the street that written 1 city in turkey.

I was sad,at the same time i was happy too. why? because it's time to say goodbye with taha, her mother and jihan. i will never forget how really nice i spent my time there. sharing stories and laughter in balcony. tea time. some turkish culture that he told me , hearing adzan in front of  their house, i gonna miss them!!
13 of july 2013 i woke up early in the morning at 7 am i went out and say goodbye to my friend.

Let another adventure begin....
7 am in the morning  i was walking to find a good spot for hitchhike i've already made small research where should i go for hitchhike. my heart beat fast i could feel adventure in front of me now. i couldn't believe to my self this plan has changed into something real i can't stop smilling and feel very happy. This is my journey i must enjoy it!! :D

after walked about 15 minutes i stopped somewhere i am not sure this is  good spot.  5 minutes passed i changed my plan and went by minibus to another side. i walked again and tried to point my thumbs up and showed my paper that written "SAMSUN" after 10 minutes 1 car stop and i was run for asking where the driver's want to go?! "Merhaba! Gerede nidiyorsun"? the driver said something that i couldn't understand then i showed my paper for make it easier each other he said "hayir" i answered "tamam, teshekurler".

I was trying to thumbs up again. 7 minutes passed 1 blue big truck stop!! i  was running again and asking the same question and the driver said "Tamam" yes finally! :D
on my way i gave my letter to the driver so they could know the propose of what i am doing here. The driver laughed and said " Tamam, tamam" after 1 hour the driver stop . I was surprised  why are so many police? is it police station? -__- i get out from the truck 1 police was trying to explain with little english but i didn't understand very well  what he was talking about. the driver was smiling  then i went inside the office. i was a little bit nervous although i knew my document is complete. the police were smilling than i was spontaneously showed my letter to them why i am here hahaha. Police explained to me toThe truck driver asked to police for helped me to find a car to go to "SAMSUN" because he will not go to samsun but different direction. the police was trying to help me to stop a car but after15 minutes no car stop . maybe the drivers are nervous LOL xD because it's police station.
I said to them" i want to go there" plus sign language "there" ,they said "Tamam"  then i walked away from police station.
Yep after 10 minutes (the average time for waiting car when i hitchhike here always 10 minutes! the longest time i've been waiting about 20 minutes when i wanted to go to istanbul).
